SURF SIG LA community day

The SURF special interest group organized the national LA community day on May 22, 2026. It featured discussion of use cases, a poster session, and ample opportunity for networking.

Anouschka chaired the session and presented a poster, in which she talked about the highlights of the LAK26 conference. She tried a new format: a poster that the audience could write on, with “post it notes” printed on the poster. It was a nice experience! The poster, with filled in notes, now hangs in our office.
